WARRI – The saying that “wonders shall never end” was reverberated early hours of Sunday in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta State as a young lady vomited new 500 naira notes.

The bizzare incident which took place at JJC junction in Effurun attracted an unprecedented crowd all trying to cash a glimpse of the 21Century wonder which only was thought to be seen in Nollywood films.

The lady simply identified as Taiye was said to be cohabiting with her boyfriend in a one storey building.

Nigerian Observer gathered that, the lady is believed to have been charmed by the rampaging “Yahoo boys” who have been on the prowl for some time now in Delta State .

The incident was said to have started at about 1am Sunday morning when Taiye started vomiting money and a pastor was called to conduct deliverance sessions for her.

The Naira notes continued spewing out of her mouth unabated till the early hours of the morning , making the area a site of attraction with many onlookers especially those on their way to church stopping by to watch.

The lady, a female witness said, was “used” by another man who allegedly stole her pant to make the money ritual.

The victim was said to have begun to feel groggy, then intermittently passed out, some two days ago, before neighbours began to suspect something was amiss.

She was said to have also complained about some rumblings in her lower abdomen and that one of her pants was missing.

A few minutes after the prayer session began, she reportedly began to vomit the naira notes that, witnesses said, totalled about N5, 000.

She would have vomited more naira notes, it was gathered, but the effectual prayers of the cleric, who was said to be tottering forward and backward during the prayer session with the foul spirits.

It will be recalled that “yahoo plus boys” have been on the prowl in the state in recent times, getting to a head after the killing and mutilation of the body of a female student of the Delta State University (DELSU) in Abraka , Elozino Ogege , about a month ago.

The killing and a handful thereafter, has since sent jitters into the spines of ladies in the state who now keep vigil on their undies, menstrual pads and other private inner wears which are reportedly being sought after and bought for money-making ritual.

Following the death of Elozino, the Delta State governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa had giving a matching order to all security agencies, especially the police, to clamp down on the prowling yahoo Boys.

Police Public Relations officer, Delta Police Command, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, said that, he was not aware of the incident, promising to get back, but he never did nor was his mobile line reachable when he was further contacted.
