ASABA – Suspected armed Bandits on Thursday stormed the Federal Technical College, Asaba, Delta State robbed the female students and stabbed a young lady
It was learnt that the incident took place midnight at the female hostel of the college where them were of their valuables.
One of the victims, a 400 level student of the institution said that she was stabbed with a broken bottle when she engaged them in a fight.
According to her, “The man came into the female hostel at about 1:46 am on Thursday, I was attacked in my room and I was stabbed on my hand by the man. I saw his face and I am sure he is not a student”.
She alleged that there was no security at the school, particularly the female hostel hence the place was venurable to hoodlums.
“There have been constant attacks on majorly girls in the school and vandalization of school properties.
When contacted, the Commissioner of Police (CP), Adeleke Adeyinka said that he was yet to get details report of the matter, but he had sent a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, of the area for further investigations.
