BENIN CITY- As part of activities lined up to mark its 20th reunion celebration in Benin City, the set of Class 99 Sisters of Presentation National High School (PNHS), Benin City has donated four sets of high spec HP computers to the school.

At the presentation ceremony which held at the school premises, Dr. Ozoh Ibhade who made the presentation on behalf of the Class 99, said the decision was informed by the need to give back to their Alma mater after a successful sojourn in life.

She also stated that the event was geared towards encouraging the students with modern Information Communication Technology (ICT) that would help boost their intellectual ability and knowledge.

Ibhade described thw school as instrumental to their formative years while at the school, adding that members from across the globe were able to rally round themselves with a view to raising funds so they could reach back to the school with sincere gratitude.

According to her, the purpose was also to encourage the interest of young girls in Science, Tecnology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in higher education and career.

Dr. Ibhade who expressed proudness for the school charged the students to always emulate the virtues of the school, just as she shared her working experience with them.

While harping on the need for the students to be good ambassadors of the school and the nation in general, Dr. Ibhade charged them to imbibe the culture of discipline, and uphold God if they must curtail moral vices capable of derailing them in life.

She further urged them to see themselves as sisters and strive to sustaining the bond as in the case of Class 99 Sisters, declaring that discipline was the hallmark of the school since inception.

Noting that the school afford members across the globe the opportunity to annually come together, especially this year’s 20th reunion celebration of Class 99 Sisters, Dr. Ibhade commended the school authority for the warm reception accorded them and for the successes recorded so far by the school.
