BENIN CITY – The chairman of Esan South East local government council, Hon. Peter Aguele have commended governor Godwin Obaseki for extending relief materials to the people of his area.
Hon Aguele who was in the company of other council chairman who received the food items ranging from rice, beans, vegetable oil and others said the governor relief items is coming at the time when it seems all hope where lost as it relates to making sure that his people have enough to eat and to also cater for others.
According to one of his aid, Blder Anthony Osuji, MNIOB, he said the governor have acted in a manner that we all never expected either as council chairmen or as indigenes of Edo state. You can see me, will joy all over, my people are already waiting for this food items. The reason why they are very happy is because it is coming from our wake and see governor.
‘Just look at tracks waiting to be offloaded even when over hundred have been offloaded, fill will food items, all rounder, my brother food is life and I know that with this, the governor have proved again that he listen to the cry of all Edo people.
Blder Osuji call on other spirited individuals to join the governor in quest to make sure that Edo remain safe and free from hunger even as he pleaded that Edo people should adhere to preventive and protective measures as approved by concerned authority.
