The Focal Person, Edo State Social Investment Programme (ED-SIP), Osayuwamen Aladeselu said the move is part of efforts by government to identify with the needy and vulnerable persons in society.

Recall that the governor had last week donated food and other household items to the IDP camp including 200 bags of rice, 180 bags of garri, 1500 tubers of yams, 25 bags of brown beans, 25 bags of white beans, 50 bags of grains, 25 gallons of 20 litres of vegetables oil, and 20 gallons of 25 litres of palm oil.

Delivering the items, which comprise cartons of instant noodles and milk products, Aladeselu said, “We have been asked us to deliver these items to children at the IDP Camp here in Uhogua, to ensure the children are well nourished.

“We really commended the management of the camp for taking good care of the displaced persons at the camp. We have a passion for the needy and vulnerable in the society as such will do everything possible to ensure they are happy.”
