BENIN CITY – The Leadership and Members of the Nigerian Optometric Association (NOA), Edo State Chapter has congratulated the State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu, over their re-election victory at the just concluded September 19 Governorship Election in the state.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr. Joe Owie and made available to The Nigerian OBSERVER yesterday in Benin City, the Association described the re-election victory of the governor and his deputy as a clear testament of the acceptance of the people of Edo State to Obaseki’s developmental policies and people oriented programs, projects geared towards making the State great again.

NOA expressed optimism that the re-election of Obaseki as the governor of Edo State would no doubt further rekindle the hope and believe of the people for more development as well as good governance.

While pledging the association’s unalloyed loyalty to the Obaseki’s led administration especially as he sets to begin his second term in office (Ogbane), Dr. Owie, however, prayed God to continue to bless the governor and his Deputy as well as granting them more wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state to greater height.
