BENIN CITY – Edo Queens FC could not live up to their promise of grabbing an away point in Wednesday’s NWFL week 8 match against Delta Queens.

Edo Queens showed class and strength, giving rise to the hope of taking something positive away from Agbor ,after holding the host team to goalless first half.

According to some reactions from the fans corner, the players became complacent and lost total control of the game in the second half which led to series of mistakes that gave the host team the advantage to score the only goal of the game.

This is the second time Edo Queens are suffering defeat since the commencement of the NWFL current season.
The 1-0 defeat has now pushed Edo Queens back to 5th position on the log with 14 points from 8 matches.

Edo Queens will now shift their focus on their next game against Robo FC at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium,Benin-City.

Meanwhile, the head coach Rollandson Odeh will not be on the Queens’ bench following his suspension.

Insurance Feeders team coach Stanley Osazee with other subordinate coaches will be leading the girls against Robo FC.
