BENIN CITY – The Chief Judge of Edo State, Justice E. A. Edigin has directed High Courts in the state to proceed on the Easter Recess from Monday April 5 to Friday April 9, 2021.
A statement by the Chief Registrar of the High Court, B. O. Osawaru Esq indicated that courts are expected to resume on Monday April 12, 2021
According to the statement, the directive is in line with Order 46 Rules 4 (b) and 5 of High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2018.
The statement urged the general public, all members of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Benin, Ekpoma, Auchi, Igarra and Uromi branches to note.
