Gov Obaseki will deliver the dividends of democracy to Edo people- Aniagu

Delta State Information Commissioner, Mr. Charles Aniagu has described Mr. Godwin Obaseki as the Governor the people of Edo State deserve to bring the dividends of democracy to the state.
Speaking in an interview during the reception held after the marriage between Ifeanyichukwu Eric Okwechime and Oselerebhe Audrey Otoibhi in Benin City yesterday, Mr. Aniagu who was flanked by the Commissioner for Communication and Orientation in Edo State, Barr. Andrew Emwanta disclosed that Delta State is happy with what is happening in Edo today.
“As a state, Delta supported the re-election of Governor Obaseki and we are happy for what he is doing. We did not do that because of political party, we did it because we believe that in his first tenure he did quite well and our brothers from Edo deserve such a man to return despite the machinations of the opposition party.
According to him, ” Governor Obaseki has the interest of the people at heart and he is addressing a number of issues which are much more in line with what we saw when we supported him.
“As one Bendel, what he is doing is in line with what we are also doing in Delta state to add value to the people because they have given us the mandate and this mandate was freely given and the best we have to do is to continue to provide the dividends of democracy,” he noted.
While wishing the married couple the best and a prosperous life, the Information Commissioner prayed that God help them conquer the challenges of life as a family.

Barr. Emwanta who was the Chairman of the marriage reception advised the newly wed to keep to their marriage vows and not to allow third party to interfere in their marriage.
According to him, ” Marriage is a journey and not a destination and he wished that the journey takes them to eternity. My prayer is that after one year, we are coming to also join you to celebrate the new addition to the family.”
He further advised them to be transparent to each other, noting that, “as head of the family, it comes with so much responsibilities as a man and for the wife, she should respect the husband at all times, while they should both Make the Bible a companion because all challenges can be solved with the word of God.”
