BENIN CITY – The sins of a father was recently visited on two of his children when they attended the marriage ceremony of their aunt on April 1,2008
The victims, Eddy Godwin and his elder brother, Bright Eddy Lawrence Anini, the children of a notorious armed robber that held swirl in Nigeria in the late 1980s. The notorious armed robber, Lawrence Anini, was publicly executed by firing squad after he was caught by the police in March 1987. He had many children. During his reign of terror and banditry, he killed several police officers, politicians and other citizens.
Godwin and his brother, Bright were attacked by some alleged victims of their late father horrible past. They were seriously beaten and injured during the attack. Godwin and Bright received several body injuries that landed them in the hospital for weeks.
It was gathered that the children of the late notorious armed robber were always a subject of ridicule, wherever they go to. They have also been receiving numerous death threats, because of the atrocities their late father committed.
Since the attack on Godwin and Bright that made them spend sometimes in the hospital, unknown persons that have been threatening and harassing him. Eddy Godwin decided to run for his life, leaving his brother, Bright, who is still recuperating in the hospital.
