The Edo State Police Command, has again vowed to make the state uncomfortable for criminal elements, who do not want to have a change of heart, to live-in.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. David Omojola sounded this stern warning while explaining how his men and officers responded swiftly to a distressed call (armed robbery incident) at a resident along Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State.

According to him, “when my men and officers got to the scene of crime, two (2) young men, namely: Osas John and Gbeghe Igbinogun, were robbing a man in his house.”

Police Commissioner David Omojola, further explained that the armed robbers immediately opened fire on the police, as soon as they sighted them around

He maintained, however, that one of the armed robbers (Gbeghe) fell to the superior fire of the police, while the other one (Osas) narrowly escaped the scene of incident.

The State Police Command, has subsequently, declared a man-hunt for the said Osas John promising to use its drag net to arrest him, to enable him face the consequences of his criminal action.

The command has therefore appealed to members of the public to provide it with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing Osas John.

However, The NIGERIAN OBSERVER investigations revealed that the said Osas John may have left the shores of Nigeria, in search of the safety of his life.
