The authority of the Nigerian Police, State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Lagos, have arrested Aliyu Musa in connection with homosexuality, just as they have declared wanted his partner, Adams Usman wanted following their alleged involvement in illicit activities bothering on homosexuality practice in a popular hotel.
It would be recalled that Aliyu Musa and Adams Usman, were caught having an anal sex at a popular hotel room of Aliyu Musa by some youths of Bariga Area of Lagos State, last month (20th of June 2014) after they were invited by one of their friends who celebrated his successful graduation from the Lagos State University by organising a get-together party which was attended by his friends, well-wishers and course mates as well as some of his friends from other higher institutions across the country, including Aliyu Musa and Adams Usman from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State .
An eye witness who spoke to journalists said that after the party, Adams Usman went to the hotel room of Aliyu Musa possibly to relax but that they were not lucky however as barely thirty minutes they began their homosexual practice that the youths of the area who suspected them heard a screaming noise and broke into the hotel room and caught them indulged in the criminal acts where they started beating them up before alerting the police but before the police came to the scene, Adams Usman, escaped leaving his lover, Aliyu Musa to his fate as the Crack Team of the Police, arrested him.
Speaking with Crime Reporters, the Assistant Commissioner of Police In charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, ACP Yahaya, who spoke on the development, said that his officers were alerted by the residents and youths of Bariga Area and smartly swung into action by arresting the homosexuals but that Adams Usman escaped leaving his partner, Aliyu Musa to face the criminal charge at the moment.
He said that Aliyu Musa had been charged to criminal court since he had confessed to the crime, saying he was inadvertently lured by Adams Usman, while the police declared Adams Usman wanted to enable him also face the full wrath of the law, stressing that the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, has zero tolerance for crime and criminal activities in the state.
He however appealed to the members of the public to give any useful information that could lead to the arrest of Adams Usman, adding that it is 14 years jail term for him if caught as well as his friend, Aliyu Musa who is in police net
