BENIN CITY – In appreciation of his unprecedented quality services towards giving the tax system in Edo State a facelift, the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Internal Revenue Service, Chief (Sir) Oseni Elamah was at the weekend honoured with the Award of Excellence as the Most Outstanding Revenue Advocate of the year 2014.
The award was conferred on him by the Maleke Save A Soul Foundation during the jump for your Team Charity Concert organized by the foundation in collaboration with Independent Television and Radio in Benin City.
The organizers noted that Chief Elamah has held various top managerial offices where he acquired his wealth of experience which he said has brought to bear in the overall transformation of the tax administration of Edo State.
Presenting the award to Chief Elamah on behalf of the organizers, senior Elder Ogbeide Uwuimwonse, General Manager, ITV/Radio, said the award was in recognition of his initiative towards the transformation and improvement of tax administration in Edo State.
In his response, the recipient and Executive Chairman, Edo State Internal Revenue Service, Chief Sir Oseni Elamah thanked the organizers for the award, saying that he aligns with the objectives of the foundation and pledged his support for the foundation.
Others honoured at the occasion included the immediate past vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Osayuki Oshodin as Best Public Servant of the year 2014.
