THE All Progressive Congress (APC) House of Assembly candidate for Etsako Central Constituency in the 2015 general elections, Barr. Lawani Damian has described his victory at the just concluded party primaries as a confirmation of the confidence, which the people have on him.
In a statement issued in Fugar over the weekend, Barr. Lawani expressed appreciation to the party leaders, Local Government Area and ward executives and all the stakeholders who in their wisdom, found him worthy to fly the party’s ticket for election into the Edo State House of Assembly for Etsako Central Constituency.
The APC flag bearer said the over-whelming support given to him by the party leaders and delegates at the primaries would spur him to deliver on his legislative and political responsibilities if elected into the state legislature in 2015.
He recalled that in his bid to solicit support, he went round the ten wards, adding that the grassroots people trust that he will speak their mind and deliver on promises made.
He beckoned on his co-aspirants to join hands with him and all the stakeholders to build a strong and virile party and guarantee victory for the APC in all the elections come February 2015.
“To my co-aspirants, this is the time to be more united and forge ahead to build our great and performing party.
“Yes, I have emerged but not without your co-operation and for us to achieve more success we have to work together as party men. For me, all won,” Barr Lawani concluded.
