BENIN CITY- The Chairman, Edo State Fire Service Board, Elder J.A. Adodo J.P has been reelected Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) St. Saviour Division.
The election which took place at the Divisional Police Headquarters Benin was witnessed by the DPO and other SPOs in the Division
Others elected officers were Chief S.I. Abunsomwan JP (Vice chairman), Mr. Charles Oviawe (Treasurer), Elder Humphery Osadiaye-lmasuen (Financial Secretary), Deacon Robert Erharuyi (PRO), Mr. Jeff Umurhurhu (Welfare/Org) and Godfrey Erhabor (Asst. Secretary).
Speaking after the election, the DPO DSP Friday Aliemeke, admonished the newly elected executive to increase their tempo of development so as to take the Division to a higher level.
The DPO charged them to form vigilante groups in some few areas where they are not in existence. He said that he had implicit confidence that the new exco under the leadership of Elder Adodo would in no distance time complete the on-going project at the Divisional Headquarters, while promising to cooperate with the new exco at all times.
In his post election speech, the Chairman, Elder Adodo thanked God for his re-election.
He also thanked the members of PCRC for the confidence reposed in him and promised not to betray it, promising to complete the on-going project before the end of his tenure.
He further said that when meetings properly resume in January, 2015, a date would be fixed for the investiture ceremony of PCRC patrons in the Division.
