DUTSE – The Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, has pledged to invest in agriculture to tackle unemployment in the country if elected.
He made the promise while addressing supporters at the party’s campaign rally in Dutse.
He said agriculture was key and paramount in tackling unemployment.
According to him, his government will tackle insecurity, unemployment and revive the economy of the country.
He expressed concern over the rate of insecurity in the country, saying people were being killed on daily basis, especially in the North East.
The presidential candidate urged his supporters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards and vote for his party and protect their votes.
The APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun, commended supporters for their patience and perseverance for waiting for a long time.
Oyegun promised that if the party won the presidential elelction, it would usher in a new life for Nigerians, especially on security and power.
Alhaji Aliyu Wammako, the North West Coordinator of the Buhari Presidential Campaign Organisation, said the crowd in Dutse was an indication that the country was ready for change.
Wammako, who is also the Governor of Sokoto State, cautioned politicians against negative utterances during campaigns.
The national chairman of the party handed over the party’s flag to the Governorship candidate in the state, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar.
