AUCHI – The Chairman, Etsako West Local Government Council, Hon. Barr. Hassan Kadiri, who was away to the United States of America returned to Auchi on Friday January 23, 2015.
He was well received with a rousing welcome by the people of the locality.
Addressing the crowd which include APC faithful who trooped out to welcome him, the chairman expressed his joy at the way the local government was manage in his absence citing the APC Primaries and the opposition party PDP primaries which were conducted.
He appealed that the general elections should also be free and fair in an atmosphere of peace, devoid of rancour.
He thanked the Council executives for holding forth as well as the Party executives for keeping the party together.
He congratulated those who are now candidates of the APC and pledged his support and loyalty to the All Progressive Congress (APC) saying that he would do his utmost best to see that the general elections are free, fair and peaceful.
He urged contractors to ensure that work is going on according to specifications saying that he will inspect all projects, especially the road construction in the area.
He urged the people of Etsako West to join hands with him to develop the local government area and thanked all Party stalwarts and faithful for their loyalty as he promised to deliver the dividend of democracy.
The council boss however urged the eligible voters to ensure that they collect their PVC as that is the way they can be allow to vote in the next general elections.
