Kuje (FCT) – Rev. David Yako of ECWA Goodness Church, Kuje, has called on all Nigerians to eschew selfish ambition.
He made the call in a message to mark the first Sunday service of the year and to unveil the ECWA theme for the year —For I am Persuaded — quoted from the book of Romans 8: 38.
He called on Nigerians to forgive one another always and shun selfishness to attain greater heights in their spiritual fulfillment.
“When you forgive your neighbour, God will intervene in whatever situation you are in life and our current challenge will be a thing of the past.
“Love, peace and forgiveness are requirements for attracting God’s divine presence in whatever problem we are facing today,’’ he said.
He advised Christians to be careful with distraction from the enemies and evil doers and to remain with Christ even at trying moments.
Reports state that hundreds of worshippers attended the service that featured intercessory prayers and gospel praises.
