BENIN CITY – Edo State Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu has appealed to youth in Oredo Local Government Area to remain steadfast in their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The deputy governor made the remark in Benin City when the youths drawn from the various quarters of the local government area paid him a new year visit.
He urged them to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the presidential, National Assembly and House of Assembly elections.
The deputy governor explained that support for all the APC flag bearers would encourage Governor Adams Oshiomhole to sustain the pace of development in the state.
Dr. Odubu who described the youths as the engine room of the present administration urged them to come out enmass to cast their votes for the APC flagbearers on election day.
Spokesmen for the youths, Kapuepue Adun and Ogbelaka Youth Chairman, ComradeJimoh Edo said the New Year’s visit was to thank the deputy governor and ComradeAdams Oshiomhole for moving the state to greater heights in terms of infrastructure development and other aspects of life in the state.
They pledged their unwavering support for the state government, saying it has made life more meaningful for the people in the state.
