USEN (OVIA SOUTH WEST):- The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate General Muhamadu Buhari has been described as a strict disciplinarian who does not condone injustice in any guise.
Edo State Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu stated this in Ovia South West Local Government Area while presenting all the APC candidates to the traditional rulers of Usen, Iguobazuwa and Udo Communities during the party’s electioneering campaign to the locality.
Dr. Odubu told the traditional rulers that the APC campaign train was in the domain to obtain royal blessings and support for the party’s candidates for the forthcoming general elections.
He said the APC presidential candidate has high integrity level as well as the capability to check the current insurgency and protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
Presenting Hon. Samson Osagie as Edo South Senatorial candidates, Charity Amayaenvbo for the Ovia Federal Constituency seat and Hon. Sunday Aghedo for the State House of Assembly seat to the traditional rulers, Dr. Odubu said the candidates would follow the footsteps of Governor Adams Oshiomhole who has salvaged the state from underdevelopment.
Oba Oluogbe II, The Olu-Awure of Usen thanked Comrade Oshiomhole for his contributions towards the development of Usen and promised to support the APC in the up-coming polls.
The Odionwere of Iguobazuwa, Pa Williams Omoregbe who spoke through Joseph Ohonbamu appreciated the present administration in the state for the appointment of their indigenes into key positions in government. He dissociated themselves from the defection of former commissioner for investment and private/public partnership, Hon. Dennis Idahosa and reaffirmed their support for APC.
The Iyase N’Udo, HRH Patrick Igbinidu told the deputy governor with gratitude that APC government in the state has lived up to expectation.
