benin city – Edo State Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu has advised the people of the state not to sell or transfer their permanent voter cards to enable them to vote for All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Dr. Odubu gave the advice when he led the party’s campaign train to the Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area.
Beyond the 2015 general elections, Dr. Pius Odubu said the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would issue another batch of Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) after a long time, hence the need to protect the voter cards which can serve other purpose from theft or mutilation.
He emphasized, that the PVC serve as the instrument they can use to vote the broom symbol in the march general elections.
The deputy governor urged the people of Ikpoba-Okha to remain resolute in their support for the APC Congress which has transformed Edo State and other APC controlled states in the federation.
Dr. Pius Odubu told the crowd of party supporters that the party’s flag bearers at state and federal levels have got what it takes to bring Nigerian back to her feet.
House of Representatives member representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency, Hon. Jim Adun said he remains a strong member of APC and encouraged the people to vote for Hon. Samson Osagie and other candidates on the platform of the party.
Senatorial leader, Barr. Gentleman Amegor expressed delight over the impressive turn-out for the rally, pointing out that Ikpoba-Okha has always been the stronghold of APC.
