Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is keen on a move to Atletico Madrid or Juventus if he should leave the Etihad Stadium, according to his agent, Irfan Redzepagic.
The forward has struggled for game time this season, largely due to injury, and has scored just four goals in all competitions.
The arrival of Wilfried Bony from Swansea City in the January transfer window is expected to push Dzeko further down the pecking order and his agent says that his client has thought about a move away.
“Dzeko is 28 years old and wants to play for the most prestigious teams in Europe,” Redzepagic told Fanatik.
“If he were to leave Manchester City he’d prefer a big club like Juventus or Atletico Madrid.”
Dzeko’s agent also insisted that there were no offers for the striker in the transfer window despite speculation linking the 28-year-old with a move away from the Premier League champions.
“We haven’t received any offer from Fenerbahce,” he added. “Last year, Roberto Mancini’s Galatasaray asked for him on loan but, in the end, the clubs could not reach an agreement.”
