ABUJA – As part of effort to reward excellence and hardwork, a Non Governmental Organisation, Initiative for Youth Awareness on Migration, Immigration, Development and Reintegration (IYAMIDR) has presented an award to Mr. Simon Uzoachi Ebegbulem, Edo State Senior Correspondent of the Vanguard newspaper, and three others in Abuja.
The other recipients are the Managing Director, Africa Independent Television (AIT), Oluwatosin Abimbola Dokpesi, Gbenga Michael Aruleba and Adaora Onyechere, Chief News Producer/Presenter, Focus Nigeria on AIT respectively.
The award ceremony preceeded the Organisation’s 6th national symposium with the theme: “Nigeria and Her Foreign Policy on Migration, A Veritable Tool For Nigerians In Diaspora”, and took place at the AIT premises in Abuja.
The President and founder of IYAMIDR, Comrade Solomon Okoduwa said the choice of the awardees by the organisation was dispassionately made as the recognition was mainly for those who had distinguished themselves in the social development of mankind.
