BENIN CITY- Wife of Edo State Deputy Governor, Deaconess Endurance Odubu has doled out cash, textile materials and food items to widows as part of her birthday celebration.
The celebration took place in Benin City with family members, friends and well-wishers as well as political associates of the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu in attendance.
The Deputy Governor’s wife Deaconess Endurance Odubu who was full of joy during the celebration expressed gratitude to her husband, Right Hon. (Dr.) Pius Egberanmwen Odubu for his support and love over the years.
Deaconess Odubu said this year’s commemoration of her day of birth is significant as it marks another opportunity to put smiles on the faces of those who have lost their love ones through no fault of theirs.
The birthday celebration by the deputy governor’s wife was grace by the secretary to the state government, Professor Julius Ihonvbere, Chairman Civil Service Commission, Princess Ekiuwa Inneh, Head of Service, Mr. Jerry Obazele, APC State Chairman, Barr. Anselm Ojezua, APC Edo South Vice Chairman, Barr. Gentleman Amegor; party Chieftains, Civil Commissioners, Council Chairmen as well as other notable personalities in the state.
Some of the beneficiaries of the donations by Deaconess Odubu on her birthday thanked the celebrant for her kindness.
The Chairman, Civil Service Commission, Princess Ekiuwa Inneh supervise the cutting of the birthday cake.
