BENIN CITY- The Garden of Christ Ministry has ordained it’s first set of Ministers (Pastors, Deacons and Deaconesses) at the eight year anniversary of the church held at the International Headquarters of the church in Benin City, Edo State.
Speaking at the event to celebrate the anniversary of the church, the vision bearer of the church, Pastor Eghosa Idehen thanked God for his faithfulness, goodness and direction over the past eight years that the ministry has been in existence.
“God has been good to this ministry in the past eight years; we have evidence to show that the presence of God dwells here. For the past eight years, the church has not paid for rent and where it did, it was returned; he said.
Pastor Eghosa said a ministry which started without a kobo can now boast of a land where the permanent church is being built and has reached the roofing level.
“This year 2015 is a year of greater glory; those connected to this church directly or indirectly will witness greater glory this year that will turn their lives around for the better,” he concluded.
The guest preacher at the event Pastor Dan Osakpolo said many Christians have been deceived with false light but however congratulated members of Garden of Christ ministry, saying that “this church is where the true light of God dwells and there are evidence to show for it.
“If God chooses a minister and you are in that ministry, you will never be led astray nor deceived, but sure of your life and salvation.
The sermon for the eight year anniversary service was titled “The True Light now Shinneth”.
