The Nigerian Police have declared two young men, Abraham Odigie and Lucky Ebalupe wanted for homosexual related offences which is a Federal Prohibition Offence.

According to the police press release the older brother of Lucky, Samson Ebalupe found suggestive and offensive photographs of his younger brother Lucky and Abraham together. He accosted his younger brother who later opened up that he was gay and that Abraham Odigie was his same sex partner.

Samson Ebalupe reported the matter to the police but before Abraham could be arrested he fled his residence and has been missing since . It was gathered that Lucky intimated Abraham of his brother’s knowledge of their abominable homosexual acts and that the matter was being brought to the attention of the police.

Both Abraham Odigie and Lucky Ebalupe have since disappeared since March 2015 and their whereabouts are still unknown.

Same sex relationships carry a sentence of fourteen (14) years imprisonment in the country; while in some villages in Nigeria it is punishable by death.

The police are still searching for both men and anyone with information to their location should contact the nearest police station.
