BENIN CITY- Edo State House of Assembly has given first reading to a bill for a law to amend the Edo State University of Science and Technology, Uzairue, Law 2014 even as the House yesterday directed all staff to resume work at the Anthony Enahoro complex King Square, Benin City next Monday.
The first reading of the bill which was read by the Deputy Clerk of the House (Legislative Matters) on the floor of parliament yesterday said it would be scheduled for its second reading on a later date.
Meanwhile, Hon. Uyi Igbe, Speaker Edo State House of Assembly has issued a directive to all staff of the Assembly complex whose scope of work are not connected with legislative matters to resume at the Anthony Enahoro Complex effect from Monday, April 27, 2015.
He further urged every staff of the complex to leave the doors of their offices open as the cleaning up and fumigation exercises would be extended to every offices within the main complex
