BENIN CITY – The Spiritual Leader/General Overseer of Christ’s Chosen Church of God International, Most Snr. Apostle (Dr.) Joshua Osasuyi has called on Christians world over to continue to celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ.
He made the call while speaking to the congregation during a thanksgiving service held to mark the end of the 2015 international women’s convention of the church in Benin City.
Apostle Osasuyi said, “Jesus came to die for our sins to that we will be free from all condemnation and death”.
He said the physical death man experience on earth is just a means of changing address to a new location of enternity.
“Whether we believe it or not, Jesus is the son of God and he paid the ultimate price for mankind and today, we are celebrations his triumph over death”.
“As we round off this year’s convention, we should keep celebrating Jesus Christ for overcoming death, for through this act, he has changed our life for the better as no storm of life can even hold us down any more.
“As a country, let’s celebrate him and know the power of his resurrection as recorded in Hebrews 3:14-19 and mark 15:1-6.
“He should not sell our birthright for the material gains of this world, but to continue looking unto him for he is capable of taken care of all we need”, he concluded.
