BENIN CITY-  The Arala of Benin Kingdom, Chief F.B. Omolawal Osula yesterday passionately appealed to Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to forgive Edo people, particularly Edo South Senatorial District for not voting enmasse for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential candidate in the March 28, 2015 polls.
Chief Osula explained that the people had mistakenly  exercised their civic duty for the opposition party in the March 28 presidential and National Assembly elections.
The senior Benin Chief who belongs of the Ibiwe N’ Okhua Eghaevbonore, an appendage to the Benin Traditional Prince Minister lauded the state Governor, Adams Oshiomhole for his landmark achievements in terms of governance of Edo State.
“The state Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has performed meritoriously, especially in respect of infrastructural development.
“Before he become the Governor of the state, many roads in Benin were impassable”.
He said the Comrade Governor has also excelled in the educational sector, adding that many schools, Primary Secondary and even  tertiary have been built during his administration.
He said it has therefore become very necessary for him to come out to appeal to the Comrade Governor on behalf of all the people of Edo State.
He asked the people to prove the opponents wrong tomorrow by casting their votes for all the APC candidates.
He said the need for the Edo people to vote for APC in the state has become imperative in order that the state can align with the government at the centre in order to attract the necessary development to the state.
“It is also good for the APC to have more members in the state House of Assembly so that the Governor can comfortably work better to develop the state.
