DELTA STATE – IT was a pathetic situation to behold when some youths in connivance with the staff of the Legend Hotel in Agbor, Delta descended mercilessly on a popular business mogul from Sokoto state, Alhaji Zaberu and his alleged Same-Sex lover, Ezra Orumeka.
Upon investigation, it was gathered Alhaji Zaberu had a long regular customer to Orumeka’s father who is into oil Palm farming.
It was gathered that each time Alhaji Zaberu visited on business transactions, he usually bought some snacks for Orumeka since he was between 14 and 16 years of age, just as he (Alhaji Zaberu) some times took permission from the parents on the basis of taking Orumeka for light outing unknown to Orumeka and his parents that their trusted customer was gradually luring their child into homosexual practice.
This it was further gathered continued until April 9, 2015 when Alhaji Zaberu in his usual self came on business purpose and was expected to pass the night at De Legend Hotel with Ezra Orumeka.
According to eyewitnesses at the scene, their movement elicited suspicious from staffers of the hotel who busted them at midnight.
They were alleged to have used the spare key to their lodged room to open the door unexpected and caught them red-handed completely naked.
The staff numbering about four full of anger descended heavily on them.
But for one of the staff who cleared the coast for Ezra Orumeka to narrowly escape before the arrival of the police , he would have been killed in the process.
As at the time of filing in this report, the police have arrested Alhaji Zaberu for prosecution, while the whereabouts of Ezra Orumeka remained unknown.
