BENIN CITY– A new Public Relations Officer has been deployed in Edo Police Command, he is DSP Stephen Onwochei.
He takes over from DSP Joseph Edoigiawerie who has been redeployed.

in Benin City, yesterday.
“The Commissioner of Police Edo State Command has appointed DSP Stephen Onwochei as the new Police Public Relations Officer of the
Command. He could be reached on GSM number 07055956185. He takes over from DSP Joseph Edoigiawerie who has been redeployed”. Parts of the
statement reads.
In an exclusive chat with The NIGERIAN OBSERVER, the newly appointed PPRO disclosed that he was the Diagonal Police Officer, DPO, Auchi
until his last posting.
He holds Bachelor in Law from the University of Ibadan.
He was called to bar in 2010.
DSP Stephen Onwochei has also held viable positions in the police force.
He, however, pledged to sustain and improve on the cordial
relationship his predecessors established between members of the
public and the police command just as he solicited for the support and
cooperation of all and sundry.
