BENIN CITY -The Senor Special Assistant to Edo State Governor on Women Affairs and state Co- Ordinator of Umuada Igbo, Mrs. Cindy Nkiru Nanji has hailed the massive victory of the APC Presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari at the just concluded presidential election in the country as victory for Nigerian’s fledgling democracy.
Mrs. Nanyi in a congratulatory message to the president elect, noted that Gen Buhari’s perseverance, doggedness and tenacity in the face of seeming odds, would continue to serve as inspiration to all those who strive to achieve a goal in life.
She commended Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for throwing some of the latent missiles which contributed to unseating the Peoples Democratic Party at the helm of affairs in the country.
Mrs. Nanaji however applauded the reaction of President Goodluck Jonathan to the outcome of the presidential election as iconic, unprecedented and borne out of the ideals of true patriotism.
While thanking Igbo women in Edo State for their support to the All Progressives Congress (APC) so far, the SSA urged them to come out enmass to vote all the APC candidates in the Saturday April 1, 2015.
