When David committed the sin of adultery with the wife of Uriah, God sent Prophet Nathan to speak upon him (2 Samuel 11 & 12). Not only was the child conceived in adultery killed by the Lord, God also spoke the following punishment upon David as a consequence of his sin:
“Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife. Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee  out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun. For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun” (2samuel 12:10-12)
The sons of Eli were involved in the sin of fornication; sleeping with young ladies even in the tabernacle of the Lord. As a result of their sin, God’s wrath was kindle against them and both of them were killed in battle on the  same day (1 Samuel 2-4).
The wages of sin is death. For every sin you commit there is recompense. You might confess and repent just like David did, but the punishment for immorality cannot be wiped away. The unsavoury consequences of indulging in fornication and adultery are clearly revealed in Proverbs 6:23-33:
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light,’ and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? So he that goeth in to his neighbour’s wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonour now shall he get: and his reproach shall not be wiped away
The seductress pursues those with a bright star with intention to quench the brightness  of their star. When you commit adultery, you destroy your own soul. A wound shall you get and your reproach shall not be wiped away.
This word of God (His commandment) is to stop you from failing into the seductions of the endtime, the devil and his agents are all out to bring men and women into their kingdom.  The demon of lust has taken over the earth and daily, a lot of people are captured by its devices. Materials that provoke lust are all around us. On television, in adverts, in musical lyrics, in magazines, and even on the streets, explicit themes and materials is now the order of the day. More than ever before, the challenge of standing strong on the side of righteousness is so touch but the determined child of  God will prevail by the power of the Holy Ghost.
In Proverbs 7:6-10, 22-27, King Solomon wrote the following about those that give in to the seduction of the seductress:
For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, And beheld among  the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, in the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: and, behold, there met him a woman with the   attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
… He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; Till a dart strike  through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life. Hearken unto me now therefore, o ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the w ay to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
If you are  involved in sexual immorality the bible describes you as Foolish. Which house are you always of fond of going? Who are the friends that you keep? What is the content of your discussion when y are with your friends? Be warned; immorality seems harmful at the beginning, but is a way that leads to destruction.
The foolish young man in the scripture above met with a lady dressed in the attire of a harlot. Today, there are lots of people dressed in the attire of harlots, even in Church. Many strong men have been brought down by these women who expose their nakedness. Who walk with seduction and trap in their walking. Who smile seductively with intention to capture.
When you wear anything that exposes what ought to be covered up, then you are dressed as an harlot. Do you dress as an harlot? Harlots dress to advertise their vacancy, When you dress with an intention to attract the attention of the – opposite sex, then you are an harlot. When you see sisters in church dress provocatively, then they are harlots.
Do not dress in a way that will betray your salvation. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Old ways of dressing has passed away, all things have become new (2Corinthians 5:17). Do not place yourself as a tool in the hand of the devil for perpetrating lust. Do not talk, behave or dress in ways that suggest or promote lust. Your first address is your dress. As a child of God, character and dressing must reveal Christ. Fixing of eyelids, over painting  your face, wearing revealing and provocative clothing must not  be associated with children of God. A wife should dress to please the husband not the world. Do not advertise your self to men.
The first thing that changes when you are born again is your attire. If your attire changes, you won’t have to say a word before people know that you are a changed person. Dress modestly so that even unbelievers will know that you are a child of God. Let your dressing show that you are changed.
Causing others to fall into temptation is a sin and will be punished by God. Indulging in sexual immorality destroy your body which is the temple of the living God. You cannot amount to much until you have gained victory over immorality. Henceforth, may your dressing reveal Christ, in the Mighty name of Jesus, amen. May the spirit responsible for the sin of fornication and adultery be broken from your life in the name of Jesus Christ amen.
