BENIN CITY – Edo State Deputy Governor, (Dr) Pius Egberanmwan Odubu has charged the management and staff of KU FM, a new broadcast-station in Benin City to stick to the ethical practices of journalism.
Dr. Odubu gave the charge yesterday when he received the management and staff of the station at Government House, Benin City.
Dr. Odubu who was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, office of the deputy governor, Prince Ekpenriebe Akenzua urged the management and staff of KU FM to shun partisanship in their task of educating, entertaining and informing the listening public.
Prince Akenzua advised the KU FM delegation to always balance their reports and adhere to the NBC regulations of the broadcast industry.
Objective reporting and by the station’s presentations according to the deputy chief of staff, would make them enjoy the needed patronage from members of the public.
The station’s manager, Mr. Pius Charles who led the delegation said they were in Government House  to seek collaboration between KU FM and Edo State government.
Such  partnership with the state government, he remarked, would contribute towards the development of the state.
