BENIN CITY -The Seriki Hausawa of Benin, Alhaji Musa Adamu has said that with the election of General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) as Nigeria’s next president, a new wind of change which Nigerians have been clamoring for has swept across the length and breadth of the country.
Alhaji Adamu disclosed this in an exclusive chat with The Nigerian OBERVER in Benin City.
Expressing his desire for Buhari to bring about transformational change into the governance of the country, Adamu gave kudus to Governor Adams Oshomhole of Edo state for the giant strides in various sectors of the economy, especially the health sector, with the on-going construction of ultra-modern building for the Central Hospital, Benin City.
He expressed that the 18 Local Government Areas of Edo state presently have functional hospitals equipped with state of the Heart facilities.
He applauded Governor Oshomhole achievements in the educational sector, saying it was hitherto in  a state of comatose.
Expressing joy   that the Hausa community in the state voted candidates of All Progressive Congress (APC) in all the general elections, he said the Hausa community has no regret for doing so.
He commended the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Professor Atahiru Jega with his staff for doing a good job in the conduct of successful and credible elections.
The Seriki used the occasion to urge-the governor to consider making pipe borne water available to all parts of Benin City.
