MAKURDI – The Benue State, Governor – elect, Mr. Samuel Ortom, has commended a private dredging firm for installing a dredging machine at the bank of the River Benue.
Ortom, who made the commendation on Saturday in Makurdi, specifically lauded Mr. Mark Hanmation, the Executive Director of Tojema Nigeria Limited, who owns the plan.
He said that the initiative conformed to his incoming administration’s idea on development.
The governor-elect said there were a thousand and one creative ideas that could be converted into viable ventures and appealed to the people to look around them and seize the numerous available opportunities.
Ortom, who is the immediate past minister of state for Industry, Trade, and Investment, said his incoming administration would create enabling environment for the private sector to thrive in the state.
He commended Hanmation for the initiative and assured him of government support and partnership when he assumed office.
