REAL Madrid have reportedly informed goalkeeper Iker Casillas that he will continue at the club next season, even though they are planning to sign David de Gea.
The Madrid captain still has two years remaining on his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and according to reports held a meeting with club president Florentino Perez on Tuesday, where it was confirmed he will carry on for next season at least.
Los Blancos are widely expected to tie up a deal for Manchester United’s David de Gea this summer, but the decision to pursue the former Atletico Madrid man is understood to have had no impact on Casillas’ future.
