lagos – It was memorable moments for the Ebikades of Okede, Ewohimi in Esan South East Local   Government Area of Edo State recently, when their son Mr. Elvis Osamudiamhen Ebikade made them proud. Mr. Elvis Ebikade who graduated from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), was awarded a First Class degree in Chemical Engineering, during the 44th 2013/2014 Convocation and Award ceremony of the University.
Mr. Elvis Ebikade who was a university scholar all through his course of study, was full of joy and happiness to God for attaining such a feat.
On their part, the family members who were present at the occasion of the convocation ceremony, particularly Mr. Sonny-Sam Ebikade, the father of Elvis Ebikade, and also a Senior Manager with Guinness Nigeria (Plc), expressed his family thanks and gratitude to God for his divine favour and glorious mercies on their son, Mr. Elvis Ebikade throughout the programme.
Mr. Sonny-Sam Ebikade, who was visibly excited and full clad in Ishan Native consume and regalia, was full of praises to God for the attainment.
He also expressed gratitude to the authority of University of Lagos and the Vice Chancellor, Professor Rahamon Ade Bello Rahamon for giving automatic employment to all the First Class degree graduands, including his son, Mr. Elvis Osamudiamhen Ebikade.
Apart from the over 10,000 graduates of the 2013/2014 convocation ceremony of the University that were variously awarded Ph.Ds, Masters and First Degrees, some other eminent Nigerians were equally conferred with honourary degrees. They are Lt.-Gen. Theophilus Danjuma (rtd), Deacon Gamaliel Oforitsenere Onosode and Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
