BENIN CITY – The NIGERIAN OBSERVER Group today marks 47 years of Journalism practice in Nigeria. Established on May 29, 1968, by the then Military regime of Brig-Gen. S.O. Ogbemudia, The OBSERVER Group today has in its staple three publications, namely, THE NIGERIAN OBSERVER (Daily), THE WEEKEND OBSERVER and THE SUNDAY OBSERVER. As we mark 47 years of unbroken newspaper production in Nigeria today, we wish to thank our numerous readers for their almost 5 decades of fruitful patronage and sue for its sustenance.
