ENUGU – Rev. Ifeanyi Okonkwo, the priest in charge of Anglican Church of Ascension, Enugu, has urged Christians to always depend on God’s grace for their life’s sustenance.
Okonkwo gave the advice on Sunday at a combined service held at Anglican Church of Ascension, Achara Layout, Enugu.
He urged Christians to align themselves with the grace of God, adding that grace was the only thing that could make anyone to prosper in life.
“The truth about grace is that a Christian who is unaware of the beauty of grace in his life has missed the entire point of living a Christian life.
“ Out of grace comes salvation, freedom, authority, power, love, worship, and life in abundance,” he said.
According to him, what obstructs God’s grace in man is sin, adding that God gives grace to the humble.
“God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble, the attempt to live the Christian life is really an attempt to earn your salvation,’’ he said.
