BENIN CITY- The recent clamp down on suspected secret cult members by the police in Edo State has again suffered a set back with the killing of suspected  secret cult member called Rambo along Oguola Road in Benin City, Rambo was a member of the notorious cult group the Black Axe, Confraternity.
It was gathered that event leading to his death started at a Beer Parlour in Ogida Quarters in Benin City when Rambo was involved in a scuffle with two suspected members of the Eiye Confraternity another rival secret cult group that resulted in fighting and Rambo stabbed the Eiye Cult member, who later died on his way to the hospital. In retaliation Eiye members killed Rambo.
The death of Rambo has created a dangerous chain of reprisal and retaliation as most youngman in town are  now suspected to be member of some of the notorious cult groups in the country.
While the police are doing their best in eradicating cultism in the state, some people see it as an avenue to attack and rope in their perceived enemies.
The recent arrest by the police of prominent persons and youths in the state is now causing panic in the entire state.
The death of Rambo has resulted in the killing of 12 persons (9 Eiye and 3 Black axe members).
To this end the police have declared wanted three persons, Monday Martins 20, Osaro Idemudia aka Tempo 25 and Okosun Isreal 19. They are alleged to be members of the Black Axe confraternity.
According to the police statement, these three persons are wanted to explain their level of involvement in secret cult related activities in the state.
However, a reliably source told the Nigerian Observer that while most of the arrested youths use hundred of thousands of Naira to get bail, some are killed in police cells.
The whereabouts of Monday Martins, Osaro Idemudia aka Tempo and Okosun Isreal is unknown as they have escaped for fear of been killed.
