THE Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) Edo State branch has disassociated itself from the front page publication of the WEEKEND OBSERVER dated Saturday June 27th, 2015 calling on members of the union to suspend the strike embarked upon since January 2015.
In a statement signed by the branch secretary, Comrade Ekhator Hope and made available to SUNDAY OBSERVER states that the strike continues, calling on its workers and the general public to disregard the publication which is mis-leading as that was not the position of the union in the said meeting that was held since the union has not engaged the congress.
Consequently, union stand is that discussion that has to do with the strike action with Rev. (Dr.) David Ugolor the Executive Director of ANEEJ (a civil society) is hereby put on hold as the union will only continue direct discussions with Chief (Dr.) D.U. Edebiri (OON), the Esogban of Benin Kingdom, (The Catholic Archbishop of Benin Metropolitan See) His Lordship Most Rev. (Dr.) A.O. Akubeze and (The Anglican Bishop of Benin Diocese) Rt. Rev. (Dr.) P.O.J. Imasuen without fear of being misled or sold out.
