BENIN CITY – The African Network for Environment and Economic Justice (ANEEJ) Stakeholders meeting to broker peace between the striking Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) and the Edo State Government holds today at the Bishop Kelly Pastoral Centre Benin City, beginning at 11:00 am prompt.
The stakeholders meeting will address all issues in contention and propose a way forward for both parties.
The Catholic Archbishop of Benin Diocese, Most Rev (Dr.) Augustine Akubeze and the Anglican Bishop of Benin Diocese, Most Rev. Peter Jasper Imasuen, the Chief Imam of Benin, Abdul Fatal Enabulele, Esogban of Benin Kingdom Chief D. U. Edebiri among several stakeholders have confirmed their participation for today’s crucial meeting.
Convener of the meeting and Executive Director of ANEEJ, Rev. David Ugolor said both Government and JUSUN have also confirmed to be at the dialogue table and attendance is strictly by invitation.
