Sokoto State:- A Sharia court sitting in Sokoto has declared one Eric John of Evangelical Church Mission wanted for violating their Sharia law by holding a crusade in their town stadium.
It was gathered that a large number of Muslim faithfuls attended the crusade and even gave their lives to Christ. Two weeks after, the Muslims Leaders Council in Sokoto town held a meeting concerning the activities of the Evangelical Church and declared that the Church and the crusade organizers have violated their rules, as many Muslim faithfuls were converted to christian religion.
The were charged to a Sharia Court for speaking against the practice of Sharia Law in some northern state and some leaders of that great crusade were subsequently arrested and arraigned before the Sharia Court in the State last month.
Eric John somehow escaped before their appearance in court two days ago, because anybody that had violated the rules of sharia will definitely be found guilty and stoned to death after judgement.
The other members were found guilty by the court and are now awaiting the day they will be stoned to death. The Court then declared Eric John wanted and have sent signals to all their members all over to help them being Eric John to face judgement.
