JESUS spoke in John 17:17, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. It is only the truth that can cause sanctity in Man; No wonder, Jesus further re-emphasises that “if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32.
Beloved, no one can be said to be disciplined except he/she abides by the set guiding – rules of a place or institution under which he or she operates or cohabit.
It is not possible for any one to be transformed without a revelation or information. He or she now graduates from the level of ignorance to the zenith of wisdom and understanding.
The highest transformation that you and I should strive for is one borne out of divine revelation that can move you out of the realm of ignorance to the level that would make you reverence God at all times of your life.
Saul, the persecutor encountered Jesus on his way to Damascus, “and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven.” The Bible recorded that he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Acts 9:3-4. Immediately he heard the name Jesus, he trembling submitted and obeyed the instruction and the divine assignment that shaped his life Acts 9:15-16.
Saul, now turned Paul, the Apostle, confessed his ignorance in the act of persecution that he was involved in.
He, however, thanked the LORD for His mercy upon him and also the grace to conscript him into the Ministry of Apostleship. I Timothy 1:12-13. Without you knowing the Truth, you remain blind and unacceptable to God and mankind. But, when truth is seen and known in you, you may not be accepted immediately but in no distant time, it will speak and defend you.
The word of God is light and it can illuminate you and bring you up to limelight. When you speak God’s word, things change. Every word of God is flawless, Prov. 30:5. Don’t struggle with doubts about the accuracy and Authority of the Bible. It is the only means by which the desired change for you to reach your expected end can be attained.
Joshua 1:8-9 states “this book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth: but thou shall meditate there in day and night…for then shall thou make thy way prosperous, and then shall have good success.”
Beloved, there are so many people who seek after the truth but when they are told or informed of the undiluted truth, they find it difficult to obey it. Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, sought Jesus Christ by night to enhance his knowledge about the miracles wrought by Him. It is not on record if Nicodemus accepted the truth as expected by the Master of Truth. John 3:4. Said “How can a man be born when he is old? It was an expression of someone dwelling in ignorance. However, Jesus told him. “Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:5.
It is not enough just to believe the Bible; we must fill our minds with it so that the Holy Spirit can transform us with the Truth.
There are five ways to do this: You can receive it, read it, meditate and research it, remember it and reflect on it.
Jesus identified three unreceptive attitudes – a closed mind (hard soil) a superficial mind (shallow soil) and a distracted mind (soil with weeds).
He therefore admonishes everyone, Luke 8:18. “Take heed therefore how you hear, for whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and whosoever hath not, from his shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.”
Beloved, believe the word and the promises of God for your life. He knows you and He can do that thing that has given you an odious identity that brings sorrow and anguish into your life.
Your life can still be redeemed if you seek after the truth that is in Him. Eccl. 12:13 states “Let hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Love God and all that He created then, you would enjoy all that are meant for you.

Remain blessed.
