GOMBE- The continuous fear that Nigeria is no longer safe for her citizens again re- echoed as another bomb blast on July 22, 2015 hit the Dakku Motor Park in Barkin Local Government Area of Gombe State, killing innocent lives.
The incident suspected to have been carried out by the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists created apprehension as sympathizers who thronged the scene could not behold the gory scene as human flesh littered the ground.
When our Correspondent visited the scene, sympathizers were seen weeping and wailing over the bomb blast.
The numbers of dead bodies could not immediately ascertained as the response team were still escavating corpse from the scene of incident.
One Salisu Musa who managed to survive the scene blamed the incident on lack of security in the country as similar blasts have occurred across the country making citizens to live in panic and fear.
The mechanic workshop at Dakku where the bomb exploded was consumed by the explosion.
All the vehicles at the workshop which were under repair were burnt to ashes while some workers lost their lives in the process.
Simply identified as Ehiabor Osaro Wilson, a mechanic at the workshop who was reportedly to have escaped the bomb blast is said to be currently on the run as customers whose cars were razed to rumbles at the workshop are currently on his trail.
A source who spoke to our Correspondent on the condition of anonymity said that Ehiabor Osaro Wilson who he claimed hailed from Agbor in Delta State following the bomb explosion that consumed his mechanic workshop has narrowly escaped death by whiskers on many occasions from the owners of the vehicles in his bombed workshop.
The, source, however, appealed to authorities who may know the whereabouts of Ehiabor Osaro Wilson to have compassion on him by ensuring his safety, adding the people are hell-bent on clamping down on him wherever they set eyes on Wilson.
