BENIN CITY – Edo State Deputy Governor Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu has assured that the network of roads currently undergoing construction at Abudu in Orhionmwon Local Government Area will be completed.
Dr. Odubu made the remark when a group known as Abudu Elite Group visited him in Government House, Benin City.
The Deputy Governor explained that the present administration under the leadership of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole does not believe in abandoned projects.
He stated that Abudu Roads would be completed, including the construction of the bridge.
Dr. Odubu announced that the governor has directed that Girls Model School Abudu be given a facelift as the contract has been awarded.
He advised the people in their quest for better government patronage, to make their demands known to government in a civilized manner as development does not thrive in an atmosphere of violence.
He pointed out that the road from Ogan to Urhonigbe has been reconstructed while Ogan to Evboeghae is being electrified.
According to him, Urhonigbe Grammar School has been renovated and fitted with internet facilities.
Dr. Odubu urged the group to continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari and Comrade Adams Oshiomhole in prayers so that God would continue to give them the wisdom to lead well.
Leader of the group, Jonathan Okunbor said Oshiomhole’s administration in the state has stepped up the development of Abudu.
He commended the state government over the on-going reconstruction of Court Road at Abudu and other parts of the Local Government Area
