BENIN CITY – The Police in Benin City, capital of Edo State has commenced investigation into the fracas that marred the 60th birthday ceremony of Chief Omoruyi, a Prince of the Royal Dukedome of Usen Community.

Trouble is said started when a guest to the ceremony, one Racheal David, was persived by Mrs. Glory Martins Omoruyi to have severally made love advances to her husband, Mr. Martins Omoruyi. Critical at what the situation turned out to be Mrs. Glory Martins Omoruyi then engaged in exchange of hot words with Racheal David striking on insinuations on previous contacts which whispers, not relenting on unearthing the unknown, revealed that Racheal David and Mrs. Glory Martins Omoruyi were in the past best of friends on sexual exploit as lesbians.

This incident striking the feeling of Mrs. Glory Martins Omoruyi who observe the husband chilled on this strange element in her, a proud wife, struck at Racheal David, resulting a fight thus sending every guests scampering for safety from the Emporium hull, a venue decorated in reflection of the celebrant luxury. The Police swift intervention though could not save situations but quickly commenced investigation to unravel the level of involvement in acts of woman-to-woman intercourse.

Speaking to our correspondent, the functioning Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Richmond Adeosun said investigation was ongoing as parties seemed caught in acts under the prohibitive margin of involvement in acts of lesbians, a statutory law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

For now, investigation into the whereabouts of parties remain unknown as the police is set for their arrest. Residence of Mrs. Glory Martins Omoruyi remain deserted as nobody could be found and non is willing to speak with the press in the locality.

The police following this development has declared parties, Mrs. Glory Martins Omoruyi and Racheal David wanted soliciting from public information that could lead to their arrest for offences against acts of lesbian, homosexual and related offences and further to that disturbance of public place.
