Gabon have crushed Sudan 4-0 in what was a convincing home victory to put them top of Group I in Africa Nations Cup qualifying on Saturday evening.

Malick Evouna put Gabon into a 29th minute lead before Samson Mbingui doubled their advantage in the 61st minute.

The dangerous Malick Evouna sealed his brace on the 68th minute and star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished the job in the 70th minute.

The two sides ended up with 10 men against 10 after Ibrahim Salah of Sudan and Andre Poko of Gabon received their marching orders with 15 minutes remaining.

Gabon are top of the group with four points followed by Sudan on three.  Ivory Coast (one point) face Sierra Leone (zero points) tomorrow.
