EKPOMA -The bloody secret cult clash that claimed the lives of two members of one of the rival cult group at Supreme hotel in Ekpoma on September 18,2015, have escalated into other parts of Edo State and neigbouring States.
The killing of the two cult members angered the other cult group,as they went on a killing spree to avenge the death of their members. At the end of the day about eight persons from both group were confirmed dead.
It was gathered that one of the henchmen of the of the group,Odion Ekinedo was shot in the fight.His younger brother, Odion Dennis Onolunosen,who is a musician, was performing at Supreme hotel, Ekpoma,when the incident happened, barely escape with his life.
It was further gathered that the other cult group were angry that Ekinedo, only sustained gunshot wound on his leg and that he was in police custody. They went after his younger brother, Dennis, who did not belong to any secret cult group.
When they did not find him at home. They burnt down their house and left a message that they are still coming back for Dennis
Since the incident, Odion Dennis Onolunosen has ran for his life as his safety his no longer guaranteed.
